To whom it may concern,

Further to our recent planning application for the above address, we would like to advise that we are aware that we reside in a flood risk area.

The Castletown Commissioners have also completed significant works in the harbour and surrounding area ensuring that the flood risk to our property is significantly lower. Further details on these works are available here https://www.gov.im/news/2017/apr/24/scheme-will-improve-ﬂood-defences-in-castletown/

The planning submission made REF 21/00669/B proposed will result in additional anti-flood measures put in place with the current garage door replaced by a wall which will raise the potential water entry level.
