# COR Response From Applicant Redacted

Planning Department
Douglas

Dear Sir/Madam

With regard to my planning application for 9 KnockRushen, Castletown. After discussion with your department I would like to put forward our thoughts on the application we have submitted the comments sent to us by Mr Salt.

The roof terrace that we are proposing is not the first within the Knock Rushen estate, the first house as you come into the estate has a large roof terrace on the back with a parapet wall to one side of it to give privacy both to the owners and the occupiers of the Samsara Spa next door.

To the rear of our property the house directly facing ours has a Juliet balcony so if the occupier were to sit with the doors open and a chair inside they could see directly over the gardens surrounding them.

Finally, the houses next door to us both already have large extensions which limits the view into their gardens and the occupier to our left have no objection to us building a balcony. We are happy to have whatever type wall the planning department recommend to give whatever privacy they see fit.

Yours faithfully
