With regard to application 21/00533/B the Commissioners had significant concerns both in relation to the retrospective nature of the application and the plan itself. The Commissioners were particularly concerned at the loss of on street parking this application would cause if approved, and felt that the very most that should be accepted would be two entrances to the concreted garden, and not the whole concrete area being accessed from the road as currently planned. The Commissioners also have concerns that if such unsympathetic development was undertaken across the Friary Park estate there would be a very significant loss of on street parking and due to the lack of permeability of the materials used there would be significant problems with rain water run off potentially causing flooding.

k) 21/00533/B 39, Friary Park. Widening of vehicular access and driveway (retrospective).
