# Consultation 1.1 Ecosystems Policy

From: Costain, Sophie (DEFA) To: Steve Gorry; Kohler, Charles Cc: DEFA, Planning Conditions Subject: RE: 26/10033/AIR Ecosystems comments Date: 21 April 2026 16:08:40 Attachments: image001.png

Hi Steve Thank you for your email and sorry for the delayed response. I can confirm that we are content with the updated landscaping details as there is now no longer inclusion of any invasive plants. We are also more than content with the proposed earth pockets for lizards in the eastern stone and sod hedge. We would be interested to hear if there are any sightings of lizards in the future. I saw my first lizard of the year last week so they are out of hibernation and active so they might be seen on site. Best wishes

### Caution: This email is from an external sender. Please take care before opening any attachments or following any links.

Good morning Charles, Sophie, Thank you both for looking at the planting scheme so quickly, and Sophie thanks again for the advice on the project. If there is anything additional that you would like to see included (even if not part of the approved plan), please just ask; we remain committed to a netpositive development. Please find attached a revised plan omitting the offending plants and moving the hibernacula to a more appropriate elevation on the east boundary. Kind regards, Steve
