Re: Planning Application Number: 25/90937/B

I am a resident of 16 Barrule Park, Ramsey and am writing to you reiterate my objection to the proposal to install 2 telegraph poles to provide fibre optic connectivity to 12, 14, 15,16 and 18 Barrule Park, Ramsey and the recent appeal against the rejection of the proposal.

I disagree with Manx Telecom and believe their appeal is flawed in a number of ways:

- 1. I completely agree with Ramsey Town Commissioners and disagree with Manx Telecom, I believe the poles will be significantly visually intrusive.
- 2. As pointed out by RTC and not even mentioned by MT, the associated overhead wires will be significantly visually intrusive, travelling long distances over the roads and gardens.
- 3. Manx Telecom appear to be implying in their appeal that Barrule Park is a “hard to reach area”. This is clearly ridiculous and the comment appears to me to have been included to mislead.
- 4. Similarly, do Manx Telecom really believe that digging a trench across a small estate road such as the end section of Barrule Park would be significantly disruptive, I do not.
