In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the PLANNING COMMITTEE of the Department of Local Government and the Environment does hereby REFUSE the following application made on behalf of:

### Reason(S) For Refusal:

1. Whilst there would appear to be some agricultural benefit to the applicant to having a building on the site, the building would not appear to be justified in agricultural terms, based upon advice from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. The Strategic Plan states that only in exceptional circumstances will isolated buildings be permitted in the Island's countryside (Environment Policy 15) and there would not appear to be exceptional circumstances in this case.

This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Article 3(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.
