# Disposal of Surplus Material Statement

10 Victoria Terrace Statement on Disposal of Surplus Material 3rd July 2024 The proposed development will require the reduction of the site levels as indicated on the architect’s drawings. The material removed will be a combination of topsoil, sub soil and stone from the demolition of the rear wall.

As the site is not a brownfield development, and is adjacent to existing residential properties and virgin ground, we do not anticipate any contaminates will be found.

Topsoil where possible will be retained on site and used for finishing the garden and proposed planters of the proposed development. If any surplus this will be sent to local recycle centre such as JCK.

Subsoil will be removed and sent to local recycle centre such as JCK. Stone will be broken out and removed from site and sent to local recycle centre such as JCK. Alternatively, if suitable the material may be crushed and used in the construction for formation patios drives etc. The total amount of surplus material to be removed from site is estimated to be approximately 35m3.
