# Planning Justification Statement

## Gore, Owen

From: eddie@craine.com Sent: 10 December 2018 09:18 To: Gore, Owen Subject: PA18/00894/B

Hi Owen Received recently an email from an un-known source that was automatically dumped by my system to secondary file ready for deletion. Only on checking this file prior to deletion have I discovered your email, so apologies for delay in replying. I appears you have my email address as eddie@craine.co.uk ! (should be .com). The justification and use of the trailers at Cronk Breck is briefly as follows: The equipment to be housed in the proposed shelter is: Qty.1 Class telehandler, used in conjunction with –

- Qty.1 Hedge-Cutter Man-Lift for hedge maintenance around site, essential for field clearance during helicopter landing and take-off,
- Qty.2 Open trailers for general work on site, including ditch clearance and grass/hedge cuttings collection, Qty 1 horse trailer, used mainly for dogs(4) to vet and shows.

In addition to the 30 acres at Cronk Breck, the trailers are used to transport the above equipment to other land in Jurby (5 acres) and in Sulby, owned by the applicant, where there are no storage facilities for the equipment, so they are returned to Cronk Breck.

In addition, there are two special flat-bed trailers used occasionally to transport classic cars to and from Jurby Motor Museum, that would benefit from being under cover when not in use, hence size of building proposed.

The overall benefit of these trailers being in one shelter includes concentrating these trailers into one area and protecting them against weather deterioration, leaving the whole site clear and tidy, and easier managed.

I trust this will complete your package of info for this application. My apologies for earlier omission with forms. Kind regards Eddie Craine Agent for applicant.
