## Reasons For Refusal

Application Ref No: 00/01517/B

1. The entrance and driveway as constructed are formal and suburban in appearance, and constitute unnecessary visual intrusions into an attractive rural area.

NOTE As this application is retrospective the entrance works and drive must be removed, and the roadside hedge and field surface returned to their original state within 3 months of this refusal becoming final.

NOTE Whilst the application form indicates that the whole site is in private residential use, no approval has been granted to such a use for most of the site.

NOTE NOTE This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
