## Planning Report and Recommendations ### General Report **Site Visited** ☑ YES / ☐ NO The proposal is for the stay of a back-up generator to the side of 1 Commerce House, Ramsey. The generator is prepared to be sited at 90 degrees to the side of 1 Commerce House, along the rear of 2 Commerce House. The proposed generator is required for the transit of 1 Commerce House as part of their emergency back up system. Effections have been received from Ramsey Conveyors, adjacent tenants and the properties landlord. Ramsey Conveyors have affected on the basis that the stay of the generator next to the rear access of the adjacent shop units is unneighborly and could inhibit evacuation from the adjacent units in an emergency. The tenants of 2 Commerce House have affected on the grounds that the stay of the generator across the rear of their property will impact on the level of light to the rear, lack access and lead to an unacceptable noise level. The tenants of 3-4 Commerce House have affected on the grounds that the generator will lead to an unacceptable load of noise and pollution. The landlord has affected due to the impact on the neighboring properties. The proposed stay is considered unacceptable due to the negative impact signed and unneighborlyness.
