The property is a detached single storey property situated on the eastern side of the road. #### The Proposal This application seeks approval for the replacement of two sets of sliding doors on the front elevation with horizontally proportioned windows. The section below would be enclosed to match the existing external finishes of the building. #### Planning Status The application site is located within an area identified as being of High Landscape or Coastal Value and Scenic Significance by the 1982 Development Order. #### Planning History Whilst there have been previous planning applications relating to this property, none are considered specifically relevant to the assessment and determination of this application: #### Representations Ballaugh Parish Commissioners do not object to this application. The Department of Transport Highways Division has not commented on this application. There have been no privately written representations in relation to this planning application. ### Assessment The proposed alterations would have a minimal visual impact to the property whilst providing additional privacy to the occupiers of the property.
