Supporting information with reference to the below application and conditions (reserved matters) made on approval in principal 07/560.

### Reinstatement of residence and extension of track to mill - Balakilpheric Road Colby Rushen

Proposed drawings indicate minimal alterations as requested. (Roof light to rear elevation & alterations to internal walls) Proposed porch & window to front & rear elevations respectively, indicated on approval in principle drawings have been removed. Ground level to the rear and side elevations will not be reduced as previously indicated on approval in principle drawings. Structural engineers report attached.

We have contacted Mrs Blackwell from the Manx Bat Group, from discussions & receipt of letter (copy attached) it is apparent that the appropriate time to carry out a survey to determine if there is a presence of bats is in spring.

We enclose a copy of a letter to the Manx Bat Group confirming that we will engage them to carry out a survey in spring.

As it is not possible to carry out the survey until Spring we would like to confirm that no construction work will commence until such time a detailed report has been provided by the Manx Bat Group with a method statement on how the bats should be dealt with, with out adversely affecting them or their roosts.

The existing track from Schollaby road is to be hard cored and finished with a gravel topping.
