### Officer's Report

#### The Site

The site represents the footprint of the Harbourmaster's office in Port Erin, located on Breakwater Road opposite the Raglan Pier. The building is a long single storey property with hipped roof and chimneys at the eastern end.

#### Planning Status

The site lies within an area designated on the Port Erin Local Plan of 1990 as Harbour Area.

#### Planning History

Planning permission was sought and granted for internal and external alterations to provide accommodation for the Coastguard and Harbour Master's office under PA 96/0052.

#### The Proposal

Now proposed is the replacement of a window in the eastern gable elevation which is viewed above the public conveniences. The window lies alongside an existing aperture which is boarded up. The window to be installed will replicate the existing window to be removed, framed in timber and sliding sash.

#### Representations

Department of Transport Highways and Traffic Division indicate that they do not have any objection to the application.
