#### The Site

The application site represents the curtilage of Greenbanks, 4 St Marys Meadow, Ballaugh. The single storey property is situated in the south east corner of the cul-de-sac.

#### Planning Status

The application site is located within an area identified as being residential use by the 1982 Development Order.

#### Planning History

There are no previous planning applications considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application.

#### Representations

Ballaugh Parish Commissioners do not object to this application. The Department of Transport Highways Division does not object to this application. We have received no privately written representations in relation to this planning application.

## The Proposal

This application seeks approval for the removal of a door opening to the rear elevation of the property. The existing doorway would be blocked up and finished to match the existing dwelling.

### Assessment

The proposed development is minor in scale and associated impact. There would be no loss of public or private amenity as a result of this application and the as such the proposal is considered to be unobjectionable.

It is recommended that the application be permitted.
