Site The site represents the curtilage of the Manx Co-op, Parliament Street, Ramsey, which is part of a row of terraced properties located on the southern side of Parliament Street, which is within the centre of Ramsey Town Centre.

Land Use Zoning / Planning Policy The dwelling has been zoned under the Ramsey Local Plan Order 1998 as being within a 'Mixed Use' (town centre); the site is also within a Conservation Area.

## Proposal

The application seeks approval for the installation of illuminated signage to the front elevation of the building (northern elevation).

### Assessment / recommendation

The proposals are very minor alterations which will replace the existing signage and will have no adverse impacts upon the amenities of the neighbouring properties. For these reasons the proposal would be appropriate in these locations and therefore the application is recommended is for an approval.
