The cottage is a traditional one with timber framed sliding sash windows on the front elevation but more modern and larger windows on the rear elevation where there have been more modern extensions. #### Planning Status The site lies within an area designated on the Arbory and East Rushen Local Plan as Residential. #### Planning History No planning applications have been submitted in respect of this property. #### The Proposal Proposed now is the replacement of the windows in the rear elevation with ones similar in style and appearance and framed in plastic. #### Representations Arbory Parish Commissioners indicate that they have no objections to the application. #### Assessment 12 May 2008 08/00621/B Page 1 of 2 The proposed changes are confined to the rear elevation which is not seen by the public. The windows are within a part of the property which has been modernised and is distinct from the very traditional and attractive front elevation.
