The application site represents the curtilage of the terraced dwelling 25 Shore Road, Peel.

### Planning Status

The application site is located within an area identified as being "Mixed Use" by the Peel Local Plan (Planning Circular 6/89) and is also situated within the Peel Conservation Area.

### Planning History

There are no previous planning applications considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application.

### Representations

Peel Town Commissioners recommend that this application be approved. The Department of Transport Highways Division has not commented on this application. We have received no privately written representations in relation to this planning application.

## The Proposal

This application seeks retrospective planning approval for the installation of replacement windows to the front elevation of the property

### Assessment

The applicant has submitted details of the property before and after the installation of the new windows. These show that the new windows replicate the previously installed windows in terms of glazing bars and method of opening. As such there is considered to be no detrimental impact upon the building and as such the windows installed would preserve the character of the Conservation Area.

### Recommendation

It is recommended that the application be approved.
