Land Use Zoning The site has been zoned under the Ramsey Local Plan as being within an area "Hospital" use; the site is not within a Conservation Area. Planning History There are no previous planning applications which are considered relevant in the assessment and determination of this application. Proposal The application proposes the erection of two conservatories, too, two wards (Lezayre & Maughold). #### Representations **Ramsey Commissioners:** No objection The Chief Fire Officer makes no comment on the merit of the proposed development but requests that an informative note be attached to any approval decision notice. We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application. #### Assessment / recommendation The proposed conservatories are modest in size and would overlook the adjacent car park to the west of the wards. The proposals would not introduce any adverse impacts upon the surroundings properties, which are not residential but buildings used for medical uses.
