### Officer's Report

The opening up of a door way has very little impact on the visual amenities of the locality. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditions.

#### Party Status

The Department of Transport and the local authority are, by virtue of the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005, paragraph 6 (5) (c) and (d), considered "interested persons" and as such should be afforded party status.

Mr Cannan MHK supports the application. However, in accordance with normal practices, Mr Cannan should not be afforded party status.

The Disability Access Office has raised matters relating to Building Control issues and as such should not be afforded party status.
