The application is proposing to create a hardstanding to the front of the property for the off-street parking. The property does not have any parking provision. Other properties in the vicinity have off-street parking. The proposal will retain an element of front garden so as not to impact too significantly on the visual amenities of the street scene. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted subject to conditons.
