The site represents the domestic curtilage of an existing dwelling situated on the end of a terrace of properties on the southern side of Port St. Mary harbour and on the corner of Lime Street.

The site lies within an area designated on the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982 and on the Port St. Mary draft Area Plan as Residential.

Proposed here is the installation of a solar panel. No indication is provided with respect to the dimensions of the solar panel.

The applicant has confirmed that the panel will be 1700mm by 1560mm and will fit between the existing roof lights.
