The proposed cabinets will be located within an existing compound area where other buildings and cabins exist, which are in association with the 50m high mast. The locations of the cabinets are much closer to the existing buildings than previously approved. The proposed equipment cabinets are of standard design and size. The cabinets will be colour coated green. I consider the details of the cabinets to be acceptable. This application is also proposing to additional antennas and dishes to the existing mast for the Cable and Wireless network. I consider this approach to be acceptable as is reduces the need for a further mast in the area. In terms of the visual impact of the antennas and dishes, the mast already has a number of different antennas. The proposed antennas are relative modest and will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. The application is proposing two dishes. One of which is a 1.2m dia dish. This is a substantial dish to be installed onto the mast and will be noticeable. Due to the general size of the existing mast, the proposed dishes do not appear not out of scale with the mast. I consider the proposed development will not adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice. #### C 2. This permission relates to the installation of 3 antennas and 2 dishes onto existing mast and the installation of equipment cabinets and ancillary development as shown in drawing numbers 16636.004/1, 16636.005/1, 16636.28-150.M03.03, 16636.28-100.M03.03 and 16636.28-160.M03.03 date stamped 16th April 2007, supporting letter from National Grid Wireless dated 12 April 2007, email from National Grid Wireless dated 21st May 2007. #### C 3. In the event of the equipment cabinets, antennas and dishes hereby erected under this permission becomes redundant it must be taken down and removed from the site within 3 months of cessation of use. #### C 4. Within one month of the installation of the cabinets hereby approved, they shall be colour coated in full accordance with details shown on the approved plans.
