### Officer's Report

THE APPLICATION SITE AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT The application site comprises of the residential curtilage of a detached dwelling located in the South Cape area of Laxey. The proposed development comprises of the alteration of two existing window to form one window on the rear of the dwelling. PLANNING HISTORY

The application site has not been the subject of any previous planning applications that are considered specifically material to the assessment of this current planning application.

REPRESENTATIONS Laxey Village Commissioners have no objections to the planning application. PLANNING POLICY The Laxey and Lonan Area Plan Order 2005 defines the application site as being within an area of predominantly residential use.

## ASSESSMENT

The proposed development is considered to be very minor, without adverse impact and unobjectionable. It is recommended that the planning application be approved.

## PARTY STATUS

I consider that all those who made representations to the planning application meet the criteria of Government Circular 1/06 and should be afforded interested party status.
