### Officer's Report

Planning approval is sought for the additional use of Glen Cottage, Glen Maye Hill, Glen Maye, for use as tourist accommodation.

The property is one of a short terrace of dwellings, located to the west of Glen View and with a small rear garden area. Parking is available on street, and whilst the Commissioners raise concerns regarding the parking provision, the Department of Transport Highways Division do not object to the proposal.

The Registration and Grading Commission support the application, which they consider would be suitable for two persons.

Whilst the property lies within a terrace, given the number of occupants that the property would accommodate, it is not considered that the use of the property for tourist accommodation will result in noise and disturbance to neighbouring occupiers so as to reduce levels of residential amenity.

The proposal is considered to be acceptable.

Patrick Parish Commissioners and the Department of Transport Highways Division as statutory bodies are considered to have Interested Party Status.
