Access to the Fire Station is via a driveway tot he north of the station itself. #### Planning Status The site lies within an area designated on the Laxey and Lonan Area Plan of 2006 as Open Space and of an Area of High Landscape or Coastal Value and Scenic Significance. The site also lies within Laxey's Conservation Area. #### Planning History No planning applications have been submitted in respect of this site. #### The Proposal Proposed here is an extension to the existing building to provide additional toilets. The extension will be on the southern side of the building and finished and designed to complement the existing building. ## Assessment The site is very large and the proposed extension is modest in size and proportion.
