Land Use Zoning The dwelling has been zoned under the Ramsey Local Plan Order 1998 as being within an area of town centre use; the site is also within Ramsey Conservation Area. Proposal The application proposes to reduce the existing chimney and cap with a power assisted extraction fan. Representations Ramsey Commissioners:- No objection We have received no privately written representations objecting to the application. Assessment / recommendation The removal of the existing chimney stack and cap will certainly lessen the visual impact upon the street scene and will therefore have a positive affect upon the Conservation Area and would therefore be appropriate in this location. My recommendation is for an approval.
