## The Town And Country Planning Act 1999
### The Control Of Advertisements Regulations 2005

In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Regulations the Department of Local Government and the Environment has given **EXPRESS CONSENT** to Vicar & Wardens Andreas Church for the placement, erection and/or display of adverts in accordance with the planning application and drawings submitted by or on behalf of the applicant and approved on the 7 November 2006.

In compliance with the requirements specified hereunder and generally in accordance with the requirements of the Control of Advertisements Regulations 2005, the proposal now given consent is for;

#### Erection of signage.

The site for positioning the advert is;

#### Andreas Parish Church Andreas Village Isle Of Man

The conditions for such placement are;

1)
a) The development hereby permitted shall be commenced before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
b) Any advertisements displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a clean and tidy condition to the reasonable satisfaction of the Department.
c) Any structure or hoarding erected or used principally for the purpose of displaying advertisements shall be maintained in a safe condition.
d) Where an advertisement is required under these Regulations to be removed, the removal shall be carried out to the reasonable satisfaction of the Department.
e) No advertisement is to be displayed without permission of the owner of the site or any other person with an interest in the site entitled to grant permission.
f) No advertisement shall be sited or displayed so as to obscure, or hinder the ready interpretation of any traffic sign, railway or tramway signal or aid to navigation by water or air, or so as to render hazardous the use of any highway, railway, tramway, harbour or aerodrome.
2) This approval relates to the submitted documents and drawings 01587/1 and 01587/2 all received on 15th September 2006.

NOTE The applicant is advised that there are Underground Cables/Overhead Lines present in the area indicated in the planning application. Please contact Anthony Kinrade or Ian Horsey, Operations and Maintenance Department, Network Services, Manx Electricity Authority, (Tel. 687705) to discuss working practices around Cables and Overhead Lines which may be required to be diverted before any work can be carried out on site.

The applicant is also advised to contact the M.E.A. for Electrical Site Safety 5 documents, (Tel. 687766), before any work is carried out on site. All work to be carried out with reference to Health and Safety Executive Guidance Notes HS(G)47 and GS6.

NOTE Signage should be at a height that can be seen by everybody Sitting and Standing. The Access office or Manx Blind welfare can be approached for information on font size, font colour, font type and background colour.

This permission refers only to that required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005.

The proposed advert may not be erected or displayed until either;
- The time for requesting an appeal has expired; or
- Any appeal has been determined;
Whichever is the later.

Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.
