Please find below the Commissioners decisions in relation to planning applications considered by them at their meeting on the 26th September 2006.

PA06 00642/B - Yewley Properties Ltd - Erection of four dwellings with associated access road, drainage and services - Land rear of Sunny Bank and Sunny Cottage

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved.

PA06 01326 - Robinsons Ltd - Application for express consent to erect an advertisement - Ballapaddag Packaging Plant, Cooil Road, Braddan

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that there is a material planning reason to object to the principle of the application on the grounds that the advertising signs are not required to direct the public to the existing businesses, and the Commissioners together with the Planning Committee have consistently refused similar applications for advertising signs to be

erected outside the site boundaries of commercial premises. **PA06 01355** - Mr and Mrs K Li - Erection of first floor extension over existing garage and utility - 11 Church View, Braddan The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved. **PA06 01360** - Mr and Mrs Black - Conversion of store over garage to provide ancillary accommodation - 147 Fairways Drive, Mount Murray

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved subject to the inclusion of a condition that restricted use of the proposed accommodation to be in association with the existing use of the main dwelling.

**PA06 01376** - Robinsons Ltd - Erection of a draught lobby onto customer entrance - Ballapaddag, Cooil Road

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved subject to the inclusion of a Note on the Approval confirming that no approval or implied approval has been granted to the area shown within the site plan as being an area proposed for future parking for an external company.

**PA06 01444/B** - JC Fargher (1985) Ltd - Conversion of existing mezzanine floor area into offices, installation of two windows an erection of signage - Unit 1, Barleyfields, Ballacottier Park Industrial Estate, Braddan

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved subject to a valid condition being included on the approval which restricted the use of the proposed office accommodation to that of the main use of the building and the inclusion of a condition that prevented the use of internal illumination within the proposed signage.

**PA06 01147B** - Conrad Hotel Ltd - Erection of an apartment block consisting of seven apartments - Plot 172 (formally plots 17 and 174) Fairways Drive, Mount Murray, Braddan

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved. **PA06 01456/B** - Mr J Palmer - Erection of a front porch - 13 Clybane Road, Braddan. The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved. **PA06 01478/B** - Home of Rest for Old Horses Café - Door and window alterations - Richmond Hill, Braddan. The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be approved.

**PA06 01524B** - Ballacutchel Farms Ltd - Alterations and erection of single storey extensions to side of rear elevations - Ballacutchel Road, Mount Murray.

The Commissioners would recommend to the Planning Committee that the application be
