### The Town And Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2005

TO: Mr. D. G. Mather,

Isle of Man.

In pursuance of his powers under the above Acts and Order the **MINISTER** for Local Government and the Environment, following report by the appointed person, does hereby **REFUSE** the application by Mr. D. G. Mather – Conversion of existing warehouse and bathroom and tile showroom, Units E & F, Tromode Estate, Carrs Lane, Tromode, Douglas, for the following reasons:-

1. The introduction of retail uses to this area at this time would be contrary to the adopted policy preserving this area for industry and warehouses.
2. There should not be a loss of zoned industrial land to retail uses at this time, when there is an acknowledged shortage of industrial land.
