This would comply with the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) Order 2005 except that it is not 1m from the boundary with the adjacent property. #### Representations Port Erin Commissioners raise no objection to the application ### Assessment The new extension is not objectionable in size or appearance. Whilst it is larger than the existing, it is to be situated due east of the adjoining property to the west and as such will not affect the light available to the neighbouring property. The western edge of the extension is in line with the outer edge of the window above it so it would not seem that the proposal will be built outwith the applicant’s.
