## Department Of Local Government And The Environment ### Memorandum FROM: Mrs F Mullen, Senior Planning Officer TO: Mr I McCauley, Director of Planning DATE: February 2007 ### RE: Compliance with Condition No. 6 of PA 06/00099/B - New extraction system to rear elevation, 16 Michael Street, Peel Planning permission was granted on appeal on 8th January 2007 for the installation of a new extraction system to the rear elevation of 16 Michael Street, Peel. Condition 6 of that approval stated: "Before construction of the flue is commenced details of the trellis shall be submitted in writing for approval to the Department, and the approved trellis shall be erected prior to the installation of any of the proposed equipment or ducting. The scheme for the trellis on the Southern boundary adjacent to the garden of 14 Market Street and the trellis adjacent to 18 Michael Street shall not exceed the height of the adjacent flue ducting." Details of the trellis has now been submitted with the applicant requesting advice as to the most appropriate. It is recommended that the applicant be advised that the Close Square Trellis is the most appropriate trellis in order to comply with Condition No.6. Fiona Mullen Senior Planning Officer
