THE APPLICATION SITE AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT The application site comprises of a two storey dwelling that is located on New Road in Laxey. The proposed development comprises of the installation of a uPVC replacement door and sliding sash windows. PLANNING HISTORY

There are no previous planning applications that I consider to be specifically relevant to the assessment of this current planning application.

REPRESENTATIONS Laxey Village Commissioners have no objection to the planning application. PLANNING POLICY

The application site is within an area recognised as being within predominantly residential use under the Laxey and Lonan Area Plan. The written statement that accompanies the local plan does not contain any polices that I consider to be specifically relevant to the assessment of the planning application.

## ASSESSMENT

I consider the overall level of development contained within the proposal to be relatively modest and to be without adverse impact on public or private amenity.

I recommend that the planning application be approved.

## PARTY STATUS

I consider that all parties that made representations to the planning application meet the criteria of Government Circular 1/06 and should be afforded interested party status.
