### Officer's Report

The site represents the curtilage of an existing dwelling, The Old Parsonage Barn which sits on the northern side of the roadway leading past The parsonage, heading west from the Cordeman Road (B30). This roadway becomes a public footpath to the west of the site.

Proposed here is the construction of a detached garage to the front of the building alongside the lane. The siting is alongside trees which will be retained throughout the works. The garage is of traditional proportions and appearance and will not detract from the appearance of the remainder of the site.

There are no objections to the proposal.
