### Officer's Report

The site represents the curtilage of Meary Voar, a farm holding located to the south of Meary Veg sewage works and accessed therefrom or via a footpath past Arragon House.

Planning permission was granted for the upgrading of the farm lane to the north under PA 05/00590. Planning permission is also being sought for the rebuilding of the farmhouse (PA 05/01850).

Proposed here is the demolition of an existing long agricultural building to thenorth of the existing complex, the relocation of an existing barn, the erection of two new agricultural buildings, the

extension by two bays of the existing complex and associated drainage and slurry tank. The buildings are standard agricultural buildings situated alongside the existing structures. The existing building which is to be removed does not work in terms of the drainage and being a dairy shed, this is quite important. The applicant wishes to retain those buildings which are useful and adding to them to provide for his new dairy operation.

The impact of the proposals for the agricultural buildings will have limited impact as they are merely changing the existing complex of large span but neat and tidy agricultural buildings.

There are no objections to the proposal.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the alterations of and extension to the existing agricultural buildings and the erection of two new agricultural buildings all as shown in drawings05/2134/01 - 07 inclusive and GP19829PL, GP19829Pl2, GP19829PL1 and Moore23026 all received on 23rd September, 2005.

C 3. The buildings may be used only for agricultural purposes.

I confirm that this decision accords with Government Circular No 57/01 (Delegation of Functions to Director of Planning and Building Control).
