Proposed is a two storey conservatory, at Ballacallum Farm, Andreas, The application site is a building group on the coastal side of the public highway of the Lhen. Proposed is a tall conservatory to be attached to the side elevation. The proposal is an unusual design. A similar conservatory was previously approved in 2000. This application is slightly different to the previous approval in that the overall dimension of the conservatory projects a further 500mm to the side. I do not feel this increase in size would adversely affect the visual amenities of the locality. I therefore recommend that planning permission be granted.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the erection of a conservatory as shown in drawing numbers 86/3/1; 86/3/2 Rev C (in part); 86/3/3 received on 31st August 2005 and 86/3/4 received on 17th November 2005

C 3. The facing materials of the conservatory must match those of the existing building in all respects.
