**PA05/01671/B – Alterations, demolish existing outbuilding and erection of a two storey extension to north west elevation, erection of a single and two storey extension to south west elevation to provide additional living accommodation, amendments to existing driveway and vehicular access way and creation of a parking area Ballahig, Foxdale Road, The Hope, St Johns**

The above mentioned applications have been considered by the Network Planning Section and the following observations will be forwarded to the Planning Committee of the Department of Local Government and the Environment as the response of the Director of Highways on behalf of the DOT Highways Client Group.

#### Objection:

1. There are insufficient details given of the access, including sightlines, for the proposed road or drive onto the adopted highway, to serve the needs of the development.

#### Reason:

1. In the interests of road safety.
