# Officer Recommendation Report

Proposed here is the substantial extension of the property, outward and upward. The result is a larger property, arguably more attractive (or less unattractive) although not as traditional as one may have hoped, bearing in mind its location and the efforts made with the alteration of "High Bank" next door (see above). The applicant's agent has responded to the neighbours' comments (which are not a formal objection) - see letter of 12th September, 2005. As the existing property is not traditional and is some distance from the public gaze, I see no sustainable reason for refusing this proposal. Planning permission was granted for alterations and extensions under 03/1886. This etended the property albeit on a much smaller scale, to provide a bedroom and lounge. ### Recommendation Recommended Decision: Permitted Date of Recommendation: 19.09.2005

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This permission relates to the alterations and extensions shown in drawings 01, 02, 03, 04 and 05 all received on 21st July, 2005 and clarified by the coloured drawing 03 received on 14th September, 2005.
