The site is designated as suitable for the erection of a dwelling on the Arbory and East Rushen Local Plan adopted by Tynwald in 1999. Proposed here is the erection of a new agricultural building alongside existing agricultural buildings, for use for the storage of potatoes. The new building will be 13.4m by 23m and 5.2m to the ridge, finished in metal sheeting. No indication of colour is given. The site is well screened by the chapel and the hedging along the roadside. The existing buildings include timber slat finish.
