### Officer's Report

The application seeks approval for alterations to an existing detached farmhouse in Jurby. The alterations comprise of the incorporation of an adjoining store as part of the dwelling, addition of rooflights, general repairs and amendment of the defined residential curtilage.

The property is fully intact and has been recently inhabited. I consider the incorporation of the adjoining store, addition of rooflights and general repairs to the dwelling to be relatively unobjectionable and acceptable. The amending of the residential curtilage is also acceptable as this follows a natural boundary and is already essentially in use as a garden. I recommend that the planning application be approved.
