### Officer's Report

The site represents a developing site located between Glen Vine and Crosby. The site has various permissions for the erection of a dwelling, most recently PA 04/0117.

Proposed here are modifications to the building: the basic footprint is to be less deep (3.5m), steps at the rear are to be omitted but the terrace around the property increased at the rear, excavation of more land to the front and rear ad the installation of solar panels on the rear elevation.

None of these changes affect the size or impact of the dwelling and probably make better use of the site and space available. The site is more sensibly defined and excludes the woodland to the west.

This permission relates to the amendments to the approved dwelling, as shown in drawings 0403/PL01 RevC, -2 Rev C and -3 Rev C all received on 16th February, 2005.

**N 3.**
For single connections to a water main (i.e. a single dwelling) the applicant should contact Isle of Man Water Authority Customer Services, telephone 695949.

**N 4.**
The Chief Fire Officer recommends the installation of mains wired interconnected domestic smoke detection.
