### Officer's Report

The site defined in red, represents the curtilage of the former police station on Strand Road, now used as a residence.

Proposed here is the demolition of existing flat and lean-to roofed extensions (single storey) at the rear and their replacement with a single, lean-to extension which is neater and projects less far into the rear year, but is taller at the apex.

The new annex affects the residential properties to the south less than does the existing, as it is less long at its closest point with no windows at the closest point. Also proposed is the replacement of the existing windows with new ones of the same style, but double-glazed.

There are no objections

Recommend approval.
