### Officer's Report

The application seeks approval for the erection of a new bathroom and conversion of existing garage into extra living accommodation onto a flat in Ramsey.

The Department of Transport Highways Division has objected to the planning application on the grounds that the proposal removes car parking provision.

The extent of the bathroom extension is relatively modest and, after clarification, it has been established that the garage proposed to be converted has not been used for vehicles for a considerable time. The building will still have a triple garage.

Following clarification of the garage use I am content that the objection is not sustainable and recommend that the application be approved.
