### Officer’s Report

The application seeks approval for internal alterations to and the erection of two external boiler house extensions onto one of the accommodation blocks at Brightlife in Andreas.

Given that internal alterations do not result in any additional accommodation I would conclude that they do not consistute development. However the boiler houses do consistute development. I consider the boiler houses to be relatively modest and unobjectionable. Accordingly, I recommend that the planning application be approved.
