# Conservation Officer Report 04/02293

Planning Report and Recommendations General Report Site Visited YES/NO Okew's Brewery, Glen Falcon is a registered Building (LB 145) located within the Douglas Promenades Conservation Area. The ground floor is currently in use as an off licence. This proposal seeks to enhance that usage with the addition of a Delicatessen. Other than the removal of the toilets and their opening up into the selling space and the addition of the new entrance with associated canopy, the alterations are relatively minor. The inclusion of the Delicatessen requires the addition of additional grillage for extract. Thankfully this only Jappians on the modern addition. The refundable statement of the General Office is not contentions and is in fact welcome. Signed Date Summary of objections/views Recommendations Approve/Refuse Signed Date Planning Report and Recommendations General Report Site Visited ☐ YES ☑ NO In opening up the various areas within the plan, there may be details such as moulding mat are affected. This should be clarified. I can confirm that this scheme is the result of discussion with the Applicant's Agent and indeed represents those discussions On removal of the existing sales showing, a photographic survey should be undertaken in conjunction with the Conservation Officer. Where opening are formed, any moulding should be recorded. Color of canopy and doors to be agreed. Signed: M. S.
