### Officer's Report

The application seeks approval for the installation of replacement uPVC sliding sash windows in the front elevation of semi-detached dwelling in Laxey.

Previously, uPVC casement windows were refused through PA 03/1191. This refusal was subject to a without prejudice note advising that replacement sliding sash windows would probably be acceptable. Accordingly, I consider that this current planning application proposes acceptable replacement windows and recommend that the application be approved.

### Recommendation

Recommended Decision: Permitted

Date of Recommendation: 24.01.2005
