### Reasons For Refusal:

1. The proposed door is not considered traditional in appearance and would as a result detract from the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.

**NOTE** This applicant is encouraged to consider the installation of a four panelled door, the top two panels of which may be glazed. Traditional doors are available in a range of materials including coloured uPVC. Further advice on door styles and materials is available from the Conservation Section.

**NOTE** This decision was made by the Planning Committee constituted in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 of the Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982.
