Planning Report and Recommendations General Report Site Visited YES/NO The Enn Price Hotel, Queen's Promenade Douglas is both a registered Building and within a conservation area. The existing painted timber sliding cash windors were removed on the 17th July 2004 and replaced with the UPRC top opening. Carement windows are applied for this application, totally unacceptable in a registered Building especially considered the original or at least original pattern window were removed to do so. We issued a Stop Notice on the 2nd July 2004 which was adhered to, and an enforcement notice on the 26th August 2004 which has been subsequently returned by Mrs. Bully. The planning committee have agreed to us (perusing prosecution Settlement) signed Date 23/11/04. Summary of objections/views Recommendations Approve/Refuse The UPRC casements should be replaced with painted timber sliding cash windows to match the original opening and staging pattern of the original windows.
