This application relates to a terraced house in Falcon Street, Douglas.

The application is to remove the current dormer window and small rooflight in the roof and replace them with two rooflights on the front elevation.

There are a variety of styles of rooflights/dormers on the houses in this terrace and the loss of the small dormer will not have an adverse impact on the overall appearance of the area. The patio doors to the rear replace an existing window and will cause no problem with overlooking. The proposed alterations are acceptable and should be permitted.
