The site represents the curtilage of a recently erected dwelling in All Saint's Park - an estate of 43 houses on the northern side of the Church Road leading from Croit-e-Quill Road.

Proposed here is the installation of decking at the rear. The rear garden is steeply sloping and the neighbouring property has had decking installed and was refused at plot 12 (PA 04/1797). No views have been received from the neighbours to the south.

I contacted the occupants of both 6 and 7, Croit-e-Quill Close on 6th December, 2004 and received an objection from the tenant of number 7 who may no longer be at this address. He points out that the decking will be intrusive and detrimental to his amenities in particular the bedroom and bathroom windows with which the decking is in direct line of sight. Other decking has been refused in this area. The properties were built higher than the properties to the east but attempts were taken to reduce this impact by lessening the gardens to the area immediately behind the houses themselves.
