Dear Ms Lancaster

**Application No:** 04/01889/B
**Proposal:** Replace existing windows on front elevation with uPVC casement double glazing windows
**Address:** Monreith Athol Park Port Erin IM9 6EX
**Applicant:** H Lancaster

Upon closer scrutiny of your application it would appear that planning approval is not required for your proposal.

Under The Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) (Replacement Windows) Order 1997, as your property was constructed prior to 1921, is not in a Conservation Area, you do not propose the enlargement of the window apertures, and based on the information you have supplied, you do not actually require planning approval.

With this in mind I am withdrawing your application and appologise in the delay in not spotting the anomaly beforehand. Yours faithfully

Peter Caley
for Secretary
Planning Committee
